AANDAAL KALYAANAM

{10.30am on 16^th December, 2004 at Mr. T.Raghavan’s Residence}

16^TH DECEMBER was the first day of auspicious month “maargazhi”. Being the first day, all the devotees came to take the darshan of Guruji Amma early in the morning. That is the greatness of Guruji Amma. She is always there to shower grace on Her devotees. Guruji Amma had explained the importance of the month and how the month was apt to do devotion. Even Bagawan Krishna has said, “Among the months, I am Margasheersha”.

Guruji Amma started the sathsang by singing few bhajans, which everyone enjoyed from core of their heart. Maargazhi month is well known for Aandaal’s Thiruppaavai. Thiruppaavai comprises of 30 songs in which Aandaal urges everyone to do namajabam and cherish Bagawan Krishna’s grace . guruji Amma said that bhakthi of Aandaal is equal to bhakthi done by all the Aazhwaars. Such is the greatness of Aandaal, the only female devotee among the 12 Aazhwaars. She had proved to the world that even in kaliyuga a person can do bhakthi and attain Bagawan Krishna.

She was in such a deep love with Bagawan Krishna that she used to wear the garland which Her father (Periya Aazhwaar) made to offer to Bagawan. Even Bagawan accepted it wholeheartedly. So She is called “Soodi Koduttha Sudarkodi”. When Her father asked Her to get married She did not accept as She was determined to marry Bagawan Rangan and not a normal person.

Seeing Her bhakthi Bagawan Ranga decided to marry Her. Lord Ranga came in the dreams of Periya Aazhwaar and the king at the same time. He expressed His desire to marry Aandaal. Lord Ranganathan was amazed by Her devotion and beauty. Our Bhakthi should be such that it should stun Lord Krishna.

Amma briefly described the divine marriage of Lord Ranga and Aandaal-the divine merger of jeevaathmaa and paramaathmaa.

GURUJI AMMA’S DEPARTURE

Guruji Amma was returning to Chennai on 16^th Dec. the flight was scheduled to leave at 5.45pm.

Disciples had gathered at the residence of Mr Raghavan to send off Guruji Amma. Even while leaving Guruji Amma had done Sathsang that too in English mainly for those disciples who didn’t know Tamil. That is the mercy of Guruji Amma.

She said the Marghazhi month is very apt for doing Bhakthi. In ancient times when there used to be no calendar people used to recognize the month of Margazhi by a change in their mind and heart which used to give a pleasant feeling. Now the doctors are advising to walk in the early morning in the month of December. This was told by our great Bhakthai Andal long back. She said ‘ walk with Bhakthi’. She said Bagwan's eyees is like moon as well as sun. For evil persons Lord's eyes appear as sun and for devotees the eyes are like moon always cool and calm.

As Guruji Amma was leaving for airport everyone’s eyes were filled with tears. The 6 days with Guruji Amma was really a memorable experience, which had left an inerasable impression in hearts of everyone.

POOJYASHREE SHREE AMMA’S SATHSANGAM IN THE CAR

{On 16^th December 2004,on the way to Mumbai airport}

Poojyashree Shree Amma was narrating the importance of Namasankeerthanam(namasankeerthana mahima). Guruji Amma told that people are in search of happiness. But they are not getting it and spending the days with a ray of hope for it. Guruji Amma also told that search should be done in the right place. She further said that aim of “Radhekrishna Sathsangam” is to put an end to such search and a day will come when people will be very happy, as time will change. Guruji Amma expressed that Her only wish is that all the people in the universe should be happy and should have a peace of mind. There should not be any sorrow at all. For this Guruji Amma said that only solution is Namasankeerthanam i.e. chanting Lord Krishna’s name constantly in the mind. People should do their Karma say in the house, office or anywhere but chanting Krishna’s nama should be done constantly in the mind. Faith on Him should be unconditional.

A devotee told Amma that his past disappointments are haunting him and he wanted to get out of it. Guruji Amma advised him to chant constantly. When the devotee asked Guruji Amma as to how Amma felt in Mumbai, Guruji Amma nodded her head saying that devotees of Mumbai are doing Bhakthi and should do more and more chanting. Guruji Amma said that in olden days cars were considered as ‘pleasure’ though it was not a pleasure at all.

Guruji Amma said that “ BHAKTHI ” alone would give pleasure to the inner soul.

GURUJI AMMA'S SATHSANG IN THE AIR PORT

(16th December 5.00 pm)

Many disciples went to airport to sendoff Gurujiamma. Guruji Amma's flight was delayed by two hours. The disciples were happy because they got an oppurtunity to be with Guruji amma for some more time.Guruji amma did sathsang in English and told everyone to do Namajabam and be Happy.

Then Gurujiamma along with appa boarded the flight.
