All the Mumbai disciples were eagerly waiting for the great and the auspicious day, the day of Guruji Amma’s arrival. The days were passing and the day before Guruji Amma’s arrival seemed to be really enthusiastic and the eagerness to see Guruji Amma increased even more.

Finally the great auspicious day arrived (11th Dec, 2004). Our Guruji received the message that the flight was delayed by one hour. To wait for an hour more to see Guruji Amma was painful for our Guruji and HIS disciples. Guruji and some of HIS disciples went to receive Guruji Amma. Some were busy making the arrangements at home. They reached the airport only to find that the flight had not yet arrived. Our Guruji asked everyone to chant “RADHEKRISHNA”. Everyone started chanting and some people standing nearby too started to chant. For a while the airport was transformed into a divine place.

The eagerly waiting eyes of everyone and 'Radhekrishna chanting' made the people in the airport ask – who is arriving? One of the disciples replied, "Its GURUJIAMMA". The others too seemed to be waiting eagerly for Guruji Amma’s arrival. The sight of Guruji Amma’s Thiruvadi (divine feet) made our Guruji shout, “See there, Guruji Amma has come.” The thirst of all the eager eyes increased to see Guruji Amma. It took some 5-10 minutes for GURUJIAMMA to come out of the airport. Till then all the disciples were swaying their hands and started to chant with more enthusiasm and strength.

Guruji Amma came out. Oh! What a divine beautiful smile. All the disciples took HER blessings and so did the people in the airport. Guruji Amma asked those people to chant “Radhekrishna” continuously. Really Guruji Amma with HER divine attractive smile showered HER mercy on everyone. What a mercy!!! From the very moment of HER arrival, Guruji Amma started showering blessings.

The unknown people in the airport and others were really were very fortunate to get the darshan (sight) of both our Guruji Amma and our Guruji. Guruji Amma, HER husband (Appa), HER mother,Guruji and a couple of disciples left the airport by car to reach Dombivli. Other disciples who were present reached Dombivili by train.

GURUJIAMMA’S SATHSANG IN THE CAR

On 11th December 2004, Guruji Amma arrived at Mumbai and all HER devotees were eagerly waiting for HER arrival. As She was proceeding to Dombivli, Poojya Shree Shree Amma did a sathsang in the car too.

The speciality of this sathsang was GURUJIAMMA gave discourse in English.

She was telling about the 'Namasankeertana Mahimai' (Imporance of chanting). Every soul should do Bhakthi. If we do Bhakthi, we can have peace of mind and always be happy and contented. One can fetch a car, bunglow or anything which gives materialistic pleasures, but can never acquire peace of mind and happiness with the same. It is only by doing Bhakthi one can derive the peace within oneself and be happy and when one reaches that stage he is the richest of the rich on this earth.

Further, Amma said how one has to do Bhakthi. Bhakthi can be done by only those who have a Sathguru and who follow HIS words sincerely. One can enjoy doing Bhakthi fully, only when he adheres to the set slogan

“EKA GURU, EKA NAMAM AND EKA DHAIVAM.”

The jeevathma (bonded soul) should firmly stick to only one Guru’s words, the name of the Lord has to be chanted by the soul as per the Guru’s teachings and only one God has to be worshipped. By doing so, there will be no confusion for the soul in the process of doing Bhakthi and that is the only approved easiest method of doing Bhakthi for the gifted human life given by God.

GURUJIAMMA’S ARRIVAL IN DOMBIVLI

Everyone in Dombivli was eagerly waiting for Guruji Amma and Guruji to arrive. Big decorative rangolis were drawn and all the disciples over there seemed to be happy as well as restless. Every car that passed made the restless disciples to feel that it was Guruji Amma’s car but it was not. Oh! What an eagerness!! Really this eagerness was reaching its peak. The disciples were ready with the aarthi. The crowd was chanting and in between asking the disciples those who arrived first, what Guruji Amma had said at the airport, simultaneously looking towards the road with anxiety. The happiness and even the impatience of each and every disciple knew no bounds. At last some disciples waited near the gate and Krishnaaaa!!!!! It was Guruji Amma. Guruji was swaying His hand from the car, the eagerness reached such a peak that everyone were now confused that from which door would Guruji Amma step out. Guruji Amma stepped out and everyone seemed felling on each other to get the blessings of Guruji Amma.

Guruji Amma came out and all the disciples crowded to get HER darshan and blessings. Guruji Amma reached home and what a crowd! SHE asked everyone to sit and the very moment, the sathsangam began. Really this mercy was unbearable for everyone. Even after travelling for long hours SHE didn’t even wait for a minute. HER only intention was that every single individual should experience divine happiness through the way of sathsangam and Krishna Namasankeerthanam.

SATHSANGAM HELD ON THE DAY OF GURUJI AMMA’S ARRIVAL

Eager to know what Guruji Amma expressed in HER sathsangam? Before sathsangam Guruji Amma asked everyone to chant. The chanting “Radhekrishna Krishnaradhe” went on in full swing for about 15-20 minutes. Then Guruji Amma started the sathsangam.

The very first thing that Guruji Amma started with was regarding the importance of Krishna namasankeerthanam. Guruji Amma said that the power of namasankeerthanam could never be explained. The people are unaware of what a child requires when it is born. The usual practice of the people is that when a child is born they give some sweet or forcibly give some money in its hand. But does the child require all these things? No. What it needs at first is Krishna namasankeerthanam. Hence Bagawan’s Nama should be said in its ears. Yes, every child needs only this. Secondly, when it grows the parents want their child to go to America for earning more but can money satisfy everything? Can we eat money when we are hungry or if we have a big house can we eat that? Even if one has a big house or enough money, are they happy forever? No not at all. It doesn’t mean that money is not important but money can satisfy only bodily needs and sometimes not even that. So money alone cannot give happiness. The only one thing required for our soul is Krishna namasankeerthanam.

If at all it is said that Bhakthi is the only thing that is to be done, people think that Bhakthi should come immediately. They become very impatient. They are of the opinion that if at all their work would get over within a fraction of a second, then they would believe in Bhakthi. Bhakthi is simple but it is not any magic. For doing Bhakthi one should have an unconditional faith on Bagawan and HIS Nama. But people are not ready to accept it. Instead of walking through the path of Bhakthi, people want to jump ahead without knowing anything. Firstly, continuous Namajapam should be done and then we ourselves can realise whether we have steady faith or not.

They do not accept that they are small kids who don’t know anything about Bhakthi. But they wholeheartedly accept the worldly facts. Guruji Amma gave a very understandable illustration regarding this.

Guruji Amma explained that people are very well aware of the fact that a small child cannot know about Shakespeare or His works. In the same way it is regarding Bhakthi. All are like small kids in Bhakthi and cannot get Bhakthi immediately. Only by doing continuous Namajapam one could attain Bhakthi. Guruji Amma thus beautifully explained that do continuous Namajapam and have patience, everyone could surely experience the power of Bhakthi.

People generally say that “Golden words are not repeated”. But our Guruji Amma repeated again and again those worthy words, which are more valuable than anything. “Do Namajapam and enjoy the real happiness”.
